About Markus


I am supporting humans and organizations in their development – I am supporting life and liveliness in general: be it as an organizational development and psychological consultant, executive coach, daoist meditation teacher and in other roles – and, as my intention, in basically all aspects of life.

The background I am building on consists of various aspects:

There is, to begin with, the “mundane business facet”: business administration studies, work experience as management & organizational consultant and leadership experience in corporates and management / IT consulting companies (among others as managing director) and (just to mention that) as a commissioned officer and platoon commander within the Austrian army reserve – deep experiences in various managerial roles and responsibilities and projects, sometimes also situationally contributing to “the dark side of power” and finally enabling a comprehensive understanding of a very Buddhist world view of e.g. how suffering comes into life.  

Building on that, my always existing heart-felt desire to support human development broke it’s way and manifested itself, beginning with 2002, in additional studies and training as a life and business coach, psychological consultant and systemic organizational development consultant; professions I began bringing to the world as with 2005.

Always intrigued and deeply fascinated by the “more subtle aspects of life” I felt drawn to meditation and spiritual search since my early twenties, mostly within Asian wisdom traditions, and I regard it as a rare and precious gift to now be able to act as meditation teacher of an original ancient daoist lineage not really appealed by publicity.

On my personal development journey relationships in various kinds provided a lot of learning opportunities, which, in retrospective, I am very glad of and thankful for.

The longer I walk on this planet the more I just want to help and assist humans to basically just become aware of their true nature – in whatever context or particular role whatsoever. I feel less and less urge to further inflate my ego and I am happy to be of use for other human beings for whatever is at hand.
